Participants will be placed in French-speaking Belgium in the south of the country, including Brussels and Wallonia. While Belgium is a small country, the participant will benefit from its large diversity, whether living in the rural Ardennes, small cities or in Brussels, the capital of Europe, during the program, participants will be integrated into their local community and school, as well as live in a volunteer host family.

Eligibility Requirements

basic knowledge of French is required. Participation must provide proof of
either – A1 level OR – at least 2 years of French courses Should participants NOT have the
required level in French, we may accept the student, but an additional fee of $50 for the Rosetta
Stone course will be requested in addition to the transfer price and the student will need to
follow the course prior to their arrival.
