Explore Brazilian culture by spending a year with a native family and studying in a Brazilian school. You will be impressed by the diversity you will find within this country.

Brazil is the biggest Latin American country and hosts a huge diversity of languages, accents and people, what makes it a very multi-cultural and welcoming place. Also, in Brazil you will find one of the most breathtaking landscapes in the world, from the Pantanal marshlands in the Midwest to the beautiful beaches in the Northeast, and from the flat green lands in the South to the amazon rainforest in the North.

You will be in a frequent contact with AFS volunteers, who will assist you anytime you need. The volunteers want you to adapt well to your new reality, so they will prepare some interesting activities during your many orientations.
