The Peace program is a trimester high school exchange program, which focuses on global active citizenship learning, it is a three month exchange program, where students live with host families, attend schools, during the program. Participants will be encouraged to be engaged in social, and environmental community service projects in their hosting communities, which will enhance their knowledge and understanding to become active global citizens. Also, Students will participate in different cultural activities in their hosted community. Always you will find Egyptian host families open their hearts and their homes to welcome you as another member of the family. Staying with us for 3 months, attending local secondary school, give you a great opportunity to explore the Egyptian culture. Attending school is essential, you will study in English, also you will learn Arabic as a second language, as it is the communicating language in your daily life with your host family and the local community you are hosted in. Schools will provide you with a transcript for the studded subjects with your grades, you will be placed either in Language schools, International, or experimental schools. Students should have the ability to accept and share other communities. Ability to be responsible for themselves, interact with different people and adapt to different life styles. They should be willing to accept and adapt to our traditional and conservative culture, and to perform well in school. There will be volunteers and support staff when needed.
