AFS is committed to helping young people go abroad. At AFS Egypt, scholarships make it possible for you to study abroad or volunteer regardless of your financial situation. We work with sponsors and donors to help finance AFS programs through full and partial scholarships.

AFS Global STEM ACADEMIES

AFS Global STEM Academies, A 16-week program that starts with a  STEM & social impact curriculum (12 weeks online), followed by a 4-week immersive travel experience in Brazil, Egypt, India, or China. The program focuses on the energy transition, sustainability, global skills, and social impact, for students ages 15-17.5, from more than 15 countries worldwide.

AFS Global STEM ACCELERATORS

Women around the world currently make up more than half of the college-educated workforce.  However, STEM fields are made up of only 28% women. Women and girls who desire to learn more about STEM often face a challenging set of circumstances in fields that are traditionally dominated by men. AFS Global STEM INNOVATORS

A 5-week, virtual exchange program culminating in a 2-day in-person sustainability workshop. The online program and workshop will focus on STEM, global competence, and sustainability, with an emphasis on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
