Experience Switzerland through a high-quality study abroad program that combines excellent education, cultural exchange, and an active lifestyle. Live with a Swiss host family, attend a local school, and discover a country where nature is never far away.

Program Highlights

  • High-quality education: Attend a Baccalaureate, specialized, or vocational school in a challenging academic environment.
  • Build independence: Independently manage daily routines and commuting.
  • Explore Switzerland: Use the country’s excellent public transport system to discover mountains, lakes, towns, and cities.
  • Stay active: Join a local sports club and take part in activities that match your interests.
  • Discover Swiss culture: Experience life in a multilingual country and, in German-speaking regions, get familiar with Swiss German.
  • Explore beyond the classroom: Visit the Swiss Parliament in Bern and potentially join a mid-stay camp in Geneva with a UN visit.

Accommodation

You will live with a Swiss host family and become part of their daily life. Families encourage independence while providing a supportive environment throughout the exchange.

Additional Information:

Additional fee for the whole exchange. This depends very much on the school you will attend. Many schools organize excursions, sometimes even outside Switzerland. Some of them are optional, some compulsory. The costs have to be covered by the students themselves. Exchange students are generally expected to participate. We highly recommend you seize this opportunity if given the chance. It is not only a fantastic chance to travel or to participate in interesting activities, but also to get to know your classmates outside the classroom.
