Partial Scholarship

This program is for the brave participant who wants to live a unique experience in a country not everyone knows about. It is all about discovering a new culture through school, friends, host family, and the local environment. This is not a program for tourists, but for those who want to get to know the real Colombia and its culture. Colombia is famous for its kind people, its beautiful Spanish, and its breathtaking nature. Students will live with a volunteer host family, which may be a mother and father with or without children, or a single parent. It is important to read the welcome booklet, which includes many cultural pieces of advice.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Participant Date of Birth: 16 Aug 2008 to 2 Feb 2012
  • Spanish A1 We agree to host participants with no Spanish knowledge. But it would help them and their experience to have some basic knowledge. It’s important that participants are willing to learn Spanish during the experience.
  • English A1 If student does not know any Spanish it is helpful if he/she has basic knowledge of English
