people speak another language in their home, Spanish being the most common language other
than English. The United States is a country of immigrants and we are proud that we can offer a
multi-cultural and multi-lingual experience to AFS students.

Eligibility Requirements
Open-mindedness, acceptance, and understanding are keys to living in a
culture that shares different customs, ideas, habits, and behaviors from one’s home country.
Students interested in coming to the U.S. should be able and willing to adjust their behaviors
and habits when living within a new culture.
You can apply if you are born between 15 April 2002 to 11 August 2005
