Brazil is the biggest Latin American country and hosts a huge diversity of languages, accents and people, what makes it a very multi-cultural and welcoming place.

Also, in Brazil you will find one of the most breathtaking landscapes in the world, from the Pantanal marshlands in the Midwest to the beautiful beaches in the Northeast, and from the flat green lands in the South to the amazon rainforest in the North.

Here you will have the opportunity to find out the reason why Brazilian people are considered so vibrant and warm.

In this program you will be hosted by a local family, who will show you the community, make you feel comfortable and help you make friends.

You will be enrolled at the 10th, 11th, or 12th year, depending on your current academic level. Moreover, you will be in a frequent contact with AFS volunteers, who will assist you anytime you need.

The volunteers want you to adapt well to your new reality, so they will prepare some interesting activities during your many orientations.
